Olivet Assembly Australia Starts 40-Day Walk to World General Assembly with Hope of Revival of Mission
Olivet Assembly Australia exhorts local church to start the 40-day walk to World General Assembly on October 30, from September 20. It is aimed that mission workers and mission work can be revived throughout the period.
The 40-day walk is divided into four ten days with stage goals: the first ten days ends with Romans retreat in Melbourne, aiming to gather the potential committed members from different cities and provide them with intensive study of the basics of faith; the second and third ten days will focus on local church expansion and many daily Bible study students; and the final ten days will be the period of harvest that many will be baptized and signed membership cards to become members before World General Assembly.
Mission workers are encouraged to do daily self Bible study with written reflection, and with the refreshed grace to conduct the evangelism and Bible teaching. Right now Melbourne and Perth Churches will focus on university campus evangelism and Sydney Church is co-working with Jubilee Australia to do musical outreach to the community.
