Brisbane Church Awakes a South African in Faith

Brisbane church met a South African native named Kungawo who is currently working. He gave thanks and a blessing to the minister and missionary who actively doing evangelism.

He came to Australia with his mother and younger brother 5 years ago as African refugees. The name “Kungawo” in English means “power of God”, this is his birth name. He testified that in this modern world, people are busy working and making money, but eventually, everyone will face death. He also shared his story that his mum asked him and his brother to go to church on Sunday many times, but they both refused.

During the conversation, he realized it is important to spend time with God. He gave thanks to the minister to make a wake-up call for him to connect with God. The minister encouraged him to attend the Sunday Service and suggested he be active in the life of faith so his young brother will follow as well.

The minister also shared that we are currently raising funds for the schools in South Africa this month. He almost got tears in his eyes as he knows how much African people need education and supports, and then he thanks and a blessing.

Let us all pray for lost souls in the local mission and global fundraising for South African schools.
