OTS Oceania to Receive Thousands of Book Donations from Stirling College and Esteemed Theologian Gerald Arbuckle
By the grace of God, Olivet Theological Seminary (OTS) Oceania is pleased to confirm a significant donation of several thousand books from Stirling College, which has recently closed its physical campus to focus on online programs. Located in Melbourne, Stirling College graciously offered its library collection as a donation. Today, Melbourne church minister Pastor Taylor visited the campus, where the librarian generously provided not only books but also high-quality bookshelves. Additionally, a range of office furniture and supplies has been made available for OTS to collect.
Plans are in place to transport the books and shelves to the OTS Oceania campus next week, immediately following Easter. A separate trip will be scheduled to move the remaining office equipment and furniture.
In a further blessing, OTS recently received a generous offer from an individual donor to provide 70 boxes of books from the personal collection of renowned theologian and anthropologist, Gerald Arbuckle. This donation includes an ecumenical array of works spanning biblical studies, theology, education, and cultural anthropology. The donor has graciously committed to packing and delivering all 70 boxes directly to the OTS campus at no cost.
OTS Oceania expresses heartfelt gratitude to God for these generous gifts and prays for a smooth transportation and delivery process. May this precious collection serve to enrich the academic resources available at OTS, equipping countless students in their theological studies.
